The first school in the region, Wongchhu Biswo Darshan Primary School in Chyangba of Tapting VDC in Solukhumbu, was established in 1989 AD with the goal of providing excellent education facilities. Wongchhu Sherpa, a tourist entrepreneur and social worker, helped fund the establishment of this school. At the time, the school is administered as a community school. Sherpa supported the construction of a school in the village’s center to spare the area’s young children from having to trek for hours to school in other communities. Due to the distance, many parents used to skip sending their children to school.
Students from Chyangba, Chimding, Khamding, Chepte Khola, Kodabari, and Sisa Khola attend Wongchhu Biswo Darshan Primary School. Individuals and institutions interested in helping the school through our educational exchange programs are encouraged to apply. Expert and well-qualified teachers in information technology, mathematics, science, computers, and the English language would help the students of this rural community. In addition, we are operating a girl’s hotel initiative in order to educate more girls, as females are consistently falling behind in all areas. As a result, we built a girl’s hotel initiative to help them become more capable of everything.
