Lakpa Sherpa

Mrs. Lakpa Sherpa serves as the Chairperson of the Wongchhu Sherpa Memorial Trust, carrying forward the legacy and vision of her late father, Wongchhu Sherpa. Born and raised in the Solukhumbu region of Nepal, Lakpa has combined his deep-rooted connection to the Himalayan community with a commitment to social development. Under her leadership, the Trust has made significant strides in expanding healthcare access, educational opportunities, and sustainable development programs in remote mountain areas. Lakpa Sherpa is also actively engaged in international collaboration, fundraising, and strategic planning to ensure that the Trust’s mission has a long-term and transformative impact. Her dedication, grounded in humility and purpose, continues to inspire both local communities and global partners.
