About

Ang Diku Sherpa is a dedicated professional in Nepal’s adventure tourism industry. Originally from Tapting, a small village in the Lower Solukhumbu region, she grew up in Kathmandu and completed her education at Tribhuvan University. Inspired by her father, Mr. Rinji Sherpa—a respected climber who summited Mount Everest more than six times—Ang Diku decided to follow in his footsteps and work in trekking and mountaineering. Since joining Wongchhu Peak Promotion (WPP) in 2016, she has played an important role in organizing treks and expeditions, handling logistics, permits, and client coordination. She is also a licensed female trekking guide and has led women’s trekking groups, encouraging greater female participation in adventure travel. Her work reflects a deep commitment to both tourism and improving the lives of people in Nepal’s mountain regions..
